This limited edition original linoprint was inspired by British wildlife and the sight of hares leaping through the countryside in Spring. It features a European Hare (Lepus Europaeus) in brown ink.
 
I wanted this piece to capture the wonderful form of the hare and it's elegant ears, using many intricate marks in the lino to create the texture of its fur. It gazes intently, paw poised to leap off again at any moment.
 
Limited edition of ten prints on recycled, acid-free cartrige paper. 297 x 210 mm (11.7 x 8.3 in).
